Sept. 7, 2024—Nikita Shah, owner of The Little Gym of Cypress, visited Wells Elementary School on Sept. 4 to announce an adopt-a-school partnership with the campus.

CFISD’s Adopt-a-School program pairs schools with community organizations and business partners to utilize resources of the community to strengthen and enrich the quality of education for students.

Shah, a Cy-Fair High School alumna, earned degrees in education and speech therapy, and said she sought another avenue to support children in her community.

“I opened the gym as a way to provide and give back to kids because they are our future,” Shah said. “This partnership with Wells will expand that effort. I am really excited and happy to adopt Wells.”

According to Shah, Wells staff members will receive exclusive discounts at her business. She also offered to share equipment such as mats as a resource for PE teachers.
